NRCS developed a new technical document entitled “Solid-Liquid Separation Alternatives for Manure Handling and Treatment.” This document brings together both the theory behind solid-liquid separation and the practical application of many different separation technologies.
These workshops are geared toward community leaders, local town and county officials, conservation specialists, dairy farmers, and area community members. Both workshops will feature an innovative manure applications panel, a producer-led watershed panel, in-field farm tours, and discussions on other relevant rural issues.
