Wisconsin Salt Wise

FreeAll the salt that we bring into Wisconsin leaves in our freshwater. The salt that is applied to roads, sidewalks, and placed in our water softeners is silently salting our surface and groundwater. Salt is cheap to buy, but the true cost of salt to freshwater, infrastructure, wildlife, and vegetation far outweighs its purchase price.
