Monarch Larva Monitoring Project Trainings

June 4, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Citizen science volunteers are critical to informing and inspiring monarch conservation. Learn how to collect data that contributes to knowledge of monarch populations. Participants will learn about monarch biology, monitoring procedures, and data entry protocols, and have time to ask questions of experts. The trainings, organized by Monarch Joint Venture and the UW–Madison Arboretum, are relevant for both newcomers and active participants in monarch citizen science projects. The four-hour virtual trainings will be conducted in two parts with a one-hour break between them. During the break, you will have an opportunity to use your newfound knowledge.
