Mid-season fundamental ag update

This has been a summer of extremes–either too wet or too dry. As such, July provides a good opportunity to assess this year’s crop potential, while balancing that against early indications of Chinese demand for the 2021 crop. How is China doing in keeping its commitments for the current year, and what does that tell us about the year ahead? What is the expected response from Brazil farmers as they prepare to plant their crops that will be harvested in six months?
