Making Your Own Nature Film

April 6, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Take this course to learn how to create your own nature film! We will begin by considering vision, or how to tell your story through film. The course will also cover scripts, settings, equipment, computer programs for film making, cinematography, and mix-down. Projects will be assigned each week, and at the end of the 8-week class each student will have a finished 5-10 minute movie. Each week will begin with a critique and Q&A for 10 minutes about the previous weeks efforts. Extra time will be allowed for help with specific students and their projects. This course is appropriate for students with little experience with making films, as well as those who want to hone their skills and take their film making to the next level.
