Hydrology Fundamentals Field Training

July 17 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

This is one of three field-based trainings that will be offered this summer as part of the hydrology fundamentals and hydrologic assessment training series developed by DATCP and Wisconsin Wetlands Association.

The purpose of these trainings is to provide opportunities for participants to:

1) Observe the landscape from the perspective of source, transport, and depositional zones.

2) Practice reading the landscape to recognize the basic characteristics of degraded hydrology.

3) Appraise whether hydrologic restoration could be effectively applied to address site-specific or downstream resource concerns.
