Adapting to Climate Change While Balancing Water and Air Resources with Farm Viability

September 22, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

It is critical to maintain and support practices available to farms that help make them more resilient to the effects of a changing climate. Improved feed management has the capacity to save money through greater feed efficiency. Combining this with better manure management also offers farms the opportunity to better adapt to extreme weather, while reducing methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions. Other social, environmental, or economic considerations will also be addressed in this presentation.
