Accepting Payments from Customers using Food Assistance Programs

The Wisconsin Departments of Health Services (DHS) and Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is hosting a webinar provide information to farmers, farmers market managers, and farmer organizations on the steps and requirements involved with accepting Food Assistance Program payment methods. The webinar will discuss how to do the following:
- Register as a retailer for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)/FoodShare
- Accept payments from Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards as well as senior and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) voucher checks
- Obtain free EBT card processing equipment and have transaction fees covered
