2026 Groundwater Workshop for County Health and Conservation

January 26, 2026 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

The workshop will include hands-on training with a groundwater sand-tank model. Other topics to be covered include:

  • Wisconsin’s aquifers and groundwater susceptibility to contamination.
  • Resources for communicating health risks and treatment options associated with private well contamination, with a specific focus on emerging contaminants (e.g., neonicotinoids, PFAS). This will include a presentation from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Workshop attendees will be required to complete a pre- and post-workshop evaluation.

Submit your application for the 2026 Groundwater Workshop for County Health and Conservation Staff. Successful applicants will participate in a one-day training session (9AM-3PM) on one of the following days:

  • Monday, January 26th, 2026 
  • Friday, January 30th, 2026
