The Grow More training series is now going virtual. This training is specifically designed for agricultural outreach staff to help you reach beyond ‘the choir’ of farmers already using soil health and other stewardship practices.
This free training will take place from 9:00-11:30 a.m. on October 27-29. This is a free workshop open to natural resource and agricultural outreach professionals who work directly with producers on farm conservation practices like nutrient management plans, rotational grazing, and cover crops.
This three-day workshop will present a model for conservation outreach that is based in current social science and communication principles. Participants will learn about key aspects of farmer decision-making and work with other conservation professionals to identify messaging strategies to reach new audiences and increase the use of farm conservation practices. Presenters are from the National Wildlife Federation’s Sustainable Agriculture Team.
Please register by Monday, October 19, at https://conta.cc/3mNxb9CThere is a maximum of 40 participants, so don’t wait too long to claim your spot!
