In place of the usual hands-on summer aquatic plant identification workshops, we are holding one virtual webinar this year. We will be covering a similar set of species as we would at the hands-on workshops, and the day will include rotations with multiple staff covering different groups of plants. There will be time for Q&A after each group of species, and a longer Q&A session at the end. We realize it won’t be the same as the hands-on sessions with live plants and field ID practice, but we hope this is a valuable alternative to prepare those of you that will be doing point-intercept surveys or other aquatic plant work this season. This webinar will also be recorded for later viewing.
