Aquatic Plant ID Workshop
June 11 - June 12
The Extension Lakes program is once again offiering Aquatic Plant ID Workshops.
The southern Wisconsin workshops will be held at Lapham Peak State Park in Delafield, WI on June 11 and 12. Lodging is not available on-site but plenty of nearby lodging options exist in Delafield.
June 11th will be a general overview of aquatic plant ID, including hands-on instruction with several dozen species of aquatic plants common to the southern counties of Wisconsin. There is no on-the-water component to this workshop.
June 12th will be a half-day deep dive into the watermilfoils (Myriophyllum spp.) and pondweeds (Potamogeton and Stuckenia spp.). Participants may bring photos or specimens of watermilfoils or pondweeds that they would like help identifying. There is no on-the-water component to this workshop.
