QGIS for Forestry
June 10, 2022
Join in on 3-part series exploring QGIS applications for forestry. As part of this series, Mick Wheaton of Valley View Forestry will lead you through hands-on exercises on the basics of QGIS and its use for manipulating data to create maps, application to forestry recon and timber sales, analyzing basic timber sale data, and creating MFL maps using a customized templates. The series will be divided into three courses: Fundamentals of QGIS and Map Making, QGIS Basics for Timber Sales, and QGIS and MFL Mapping.
