DESCRIPTION:Join Ken Genskow\, Jackson Parr\, and Ashley Cate of Extension for an engaging session discussing statewide work on building greater capacity in Wisconsin’s rural communities to prepare for amplified weather extremes. Collaborating with farmers\, local hazard planning and emergency management officials\, and rural schools\, their team aims to provide data\, tools\, and resources that enhance the ability to make informed decisions in advance of extreme weather events. The session will start with breakout rooms and end with plenty of discussion time to talk about engagement with the project. \nThis work is supported by the Rural Partnerships Institute (RPI).
